their session: Sam’s Point Preserve – Hudson Valley, NY
When Alyssa reached out to me for a session for her and Chris, I immediately knew it was going to be amazing! I mean, what’s a better reason for a session other than wanting some photos together to celebrate your love? I absolutely love that! We hiked up the mountain together to get some killer shots at the peak while Alyssa and Chris enjoyed some of their favorite whisky (Talisker). Sam’s Point is one of my favorite spots in the Catskills and it was absolutely beautiful during golden hour. It was the perfect backdrop for our session. Alyssa and Chris are such an awesome couple, I seriously felt like I was just hanging out with two of my friends. Except they were cuddling and being super cute while I crept up on them with a camera 😂.
their love story
Alyssa and Chris met while visiting a mutual friend in North Carolina. Alyssa, being in grad school in Arizona and Chris, recently out of the service had just gotten back to New Jersey. They immediately hit it off and spent the start of their relationship taking trips together all over the country. Now, Alyssa joined Chris in New Jersey and I cannot wait to see where this adventure takes them in the future!
