I’m the photographer for the couple who likes to explore, is down to get a little messy and who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. I don’t want to just take photos of you - I want to make moments together. Let’s first connect and then create.
Lauren and Julia are both nurses in Manhattan who had to postpone their original wedding to work in a Covid ICU. I literally cannot imagine having to not only postpone one of the biggest days of your life, but to do so to work hands on in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. Like so many others, they decided not to wait and instead had their intimate wedding in Lauren’s parents’ backyard right on the water. This day was filled with so much love and you could literally feel their excitement to finally be getting married. The tears started the second Lauren made her way down the aisle with her father and I think just about everyone needed a tissue once we heard both of their vows to each other. Let’s just say, I was hiding my teary eyes behind my camera the whole time. Their Long Island intimate wedding may not have been what they had in mind originally, but it so perfectly showcased the incredible love that these two have for each other.
Your love is so special and I could not be happier for you both! I hope you enjoy every moment of your bigger celebration in a few months! Cheers to a lifetime of happiness together ❤️
