Elyse’s sister originally reached out to me to see if I would be available to photograph Elyse and Marc’s intimate wedding ceremony in February. Her sister, Nathelie, told me that Elyse wanted something very low key so she originally wasn’t planning on hiring a photographer, but Nathelie wanted to surprise her and I’m so happy that she did!
Elyse and Marc got married surrounded by their immediate family and a few guests at St. Therese church in Cresskill, NJ. The ceremony was sweet and intimate and you could catch the two of them giving each other little smiles throughout the whole thing.
their love story
Elyse and Marc first met in 6th grade! How adorable! And it was at an old friend’s 11th birthday party! Elyse had on a Hollister sweatshirt and Marc had frosted tips, which I truly feel says everything about the timing of when they met. They are clearly more than just husband and wife – they are long time friends who have grown together and chosen to spend their lives together.
