I’m the photographer for the couple who likes to explore, is down to get a little messy and who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. I don’t want to just take photos of you - I want to make moments together. Let’s first connect and then create.
Since they both live in Hoboken, I was not at all surprised that Jayne and Dave chose to have a fall Hoboken engagement session. They knew they wanted to showcase all of the charm of this city from the brownstones to the cobblestone streets. It was the perfect backdrop for their session, especially since their love story started here (read more below). We wandered all over the city, making sure to capture all of the charm that it has to offer. While we walked, they pointed out all of their favorite restaurants, it was so fun hearing about their adventures together. Jayne and David absolutely crushed it! Dave was also such a trooper with following my slightly embarrassing prompts on the streets.
David and Jayne met on Bumble and immediately hit it off! When they first met, Jayne had just gotten out of a school fundraiser at McDonald’s. It’s still a running joke that she smelled like french fries, but that didn’t stop them from going on another date the very next day. They instantly realized that they had so much in common. They both live in the same city and love going to the beach whenever possible. They love spending their time exploring all of the great restaurants in Hoboken and visiting friends whenever they can. During football season, you can usually find them hanging out on the couch, pigging out and drinking beers every Sunday. The perfect way to start off the week in my opinion!
I had so much fun exploring Hoboken with you two! Thank you for being your naturally adorable selves. Your love radiates through these photos, just like I know it will on your wedding day. I can’t wait to celebrate your love together at the Stone House at Stirling Ridge!
