I’m the photographer for the couple who likes to explore, is down to get a little messy and who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. I don’t want to just take photos of you - I want to make moments together. Let’s first connect and then create.
Get ready to bundle up and get cozy, because this engagement session gives me all the fall feels. Kris and Marissa wanted their engagement shoot to capture their passion and love for each other, while maintaining their witchy aesthetic.
We did their engagement shoot at South Mountain Reserve, one of my favorite places. The changing leaves made this gorgeous forest feel supernaturally beautiful.
It was so great to get to know Kris and Marissa – they were so much fun to photograph and were complete naturals in front of the camera from start to finish. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and you can tell how much fun they have together.Â
Kris and Marissa met working at Trader Joe’s (and still work together!) They spent their first date driving around for hours, just talking and listening to music, before stopping by a 24-hour bagel place in the middle of the night. It’s now an integral part of their routines, and they may even go on a road trip to celebrate their honeymoon.
You guys are a joy to be around- your engagement session truly felt like a day hiking with friends. I loved getting creative with you both, using smoke and the pumpkins as props were some of my favorite parts of the shoot! I am so happy for you both and can’t wait to celebrate your wedding at The Booking House in Pennsylvania!
